What the recording shows

  1. The request: a leaking pipe, a visit tomorrow and a morning appointment. The caller supplies the intent and preferred window.
  2. The choice: the receptionist states availability from 9am to 11:30am, and the caller chooses 9am. The dialogue alone does not expose the calendar query or its response.
  3. The confirmation: the receptionist asks for contact details and reads back a booking confirmation. The reviewed video shows a 9am calendar entry; this page does not independently inspect the underlying historical event.

Let us go with 9:00 a.m. tomorrow. That works.

Great. Can I get your full name and best phone number to reach you?
Caller
The name is [caller name] and the phone number is [phone number].
Receptionist
Okay, let me get that booked for you. One moment.

What to test in your own setup

Use a test calendar and clearly identified test calls. Define the expected result before each call, then inspect the calendar independently. Keep customer details out of shared evidence.

  • Check the correct calendar, write permission, timezone and daylight saving behavior.
  • Try an occupied slot, two callers requesting the same slot and a caller correcting a contact detail.
  • Test a calendar timeout and an unavailable appointment. Check the message and human handoff rather than assuming a confirmed booking.
  • Record successful and unsuccessful cases with a denominator. One demonstration cannot establish a booking success rate or revenue impact.
