Call answering for an Ennis solicitor's office
If your team cannot answer a call, decide what the caller should hear and who will handle the next step. An enquiry summary can support a callback, but it is not legal advice, a completed conflict check or an agreement to take on a matter.
VoiceFleet's feature overview describes AI call handling, routing and notifications. Treat that as a starting point for a demonstration, not proof that a particular legal-office workflow has been tested.
Decide what the assistant may collect
Agree the greeting and questions with the person responsible for your firm's intake process. For a proposed callback flow, consider the caller's name, contact number, a brief reason for calling and a preferred callback time. Avoid requesting detailed confidential material before your team has decided how it should be handled.
Specify what happens when the caller declines to give information, changes a contact detail or asks a question outside the approved script. Do not present a callback request as an appointment or promise a response time that the firm has not agreed.
Check the handover before routing client calls
Use synthetic details in an agreed test environment. This is a proposed checklist, not a report of tests already performed:
| Scenario | What the firm should verify |
|---|---|
| New enquiry while the office is busy | The request reaches the intended staff member with a clear next action |
| Caller corrects a phone number | The final summary contains the corrected number |
| Caller asks for legal advice | The response stays within the approved script and refers the matter to the firm |
| Caller mentions a deadline | Staff receive the information through the agreed handover; no automatic legal assessment is assumed |
| A notification or transfer fails | The unresolved request remains visible and the caller receives the agreed fallback |
Check each result in the destination your staff actually use. A successful conversation alone does not establish a successful handover. Keep conflict checks, legal judgement and decisions about accepting work with the firm's staff.
Review privacy and commercial terms
Review the privacy notice and data processing agreement against your intended use. Ask about the current suppliers, access, retention and deletion settings before connecting client information. This article is not a legal or compliance assessment.
Use the current pricing page to confirm the applicable plan, currency, included usage and trial terms. Separately check forwarding arrangements and charges with your phone provider.
Try your own call flow
Bring your greeting, intake questions and handover rules to a VoiceFleet demo. Keep any unsupported integration or untested outcome marked as unverified. Start with a scope your team can supervise, then assess actual callback completion before adding more automation.
Updated 10 October 2026: removed unsupported local business examples and revised intake guidance to distinguish proposed checks from verified service outcomes.
